Food Production Worker!

Join a well-established and reputable food manufacturer with a strong team culture, excellent facilities, and a clean, safety-focused warehouse environment. We're currently seeking reliable and physically fit Pick Packers to join the afternoon shift team in a fast-paced cold storage warehouse.

About the Role

Working within a small and supportive team, you'll be responsible for picking frozen meals using a Pick-to-Light system. Lights indicate the correct carton location and switch off once the required items have been picked, creating a fast-paced and engaging work environment focused on accuracy and efficiency.

Key Duties



Picking and packing frozen meal products using a Pick-to-Light system



Reading labels and product information accurately



Manual handling and repetitive lifting of cartons up to 12kg



Lifting products above shoulder height when required



Maintaining food safety and hygiene standards



Working efficiently to meet daily targets



Contributing positively within a team environment

What's on Offer?

✅ 16–30 hours per week

✅ Minimum 4-hour shifts (until daily workload is completed)

About You

To be successful, you will have:



A strong work ethic and reliable attendance record



Good physical fitness and ability to perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift



Ability to work in a cold environment (approximately 4°C)



Good eyesight and attention to detail when reading labels



A team-focused attitude



High standards of personal hygiene as a food handler



Previous pick packing or warehouse experience (advantageous but not essential)

Requirements

Full Australian Working Rights

PPE & Site Requirements

Safety boots



Full-cover clothing suitable for cold storage environments



No jewellery



No long nails



No false eyelashes
